Redot ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to providing a powerful workflow tool while prioritizing user privacy. This policy explains how our Chrome Extension handles your data.

2. Local-First Data Processing

To ensure maximum privacy, Redot operates with a local-first architecture:

• Local Storage: All status information you assign (e.g., "Action Needed", "Awaiting Response") is stored locally within your browser's storage. We do not store this information on our servers.
• On-Device Analysis: Redot analyzes the content of your email threads locally on your machine to determine if a reply has been received or is required.
• No Data Retention of Email Content: While the extension processes email content to update your workflow statuses, this content is never saved, cached, or transmitted to our servers or any third parties. The analysis happens in real-time and is discarded immediately after the status is determined.

3. Data Security

Since your data is stored locally in your browser, it is protected by your system's security and your Chrome profile. We do not have access to your emails or the statuses you set.

4. Transparency & Limited Use

Redot does not use your email data for advertising, nor do we sell or trade any user information. Our access to email content is strictly limited to the functional purpose of updating your workflow statuses within the Gmail interface.

5. Third-Party Services

Redot operates within the Gmail environment. Your use of Gmail is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy. Redot does not share your data with any other third-party services.
